Why a roller shutter?
Roller shutters are particularly burglar-resistant with anti-lift devices and specially foamed aluminum profiles. You should also think about cleaning: roller shutters practically do not need to be cleaned as they are always at a 90° angle. The windows are also effectively shielded from the rain. Foamed aluminum roller shutters provide increased sound insulation. In the sleeping area, they darken the room optimally and serve as protection against unwanted glances. When watching television, the sun's rays can impair the picture quality. Roller shutters provide the necessary comfort here.

The profiles are powder-coated for increased color stability; extruded parts have a stove-enameled surface. Individual solutions are possible with LAKAL: the roller shutters can be controlled by remote control and even gable windows can be fitted with a roller shutter. The motors with obstacle detection also detect whether the roller shutter is frozen. Better sound insulation and increased security can be achieved with DUR profiles in particular. The foam density of the standard profiles is 90 kg/m³. DUR profiles, recognizable by their blue foam, have a density of 350 kg/m³ . www.lakal.de
